I feel wasted now, headwind all the way in on my second day back on the bike after getting the flu with a chest infection thrown in for fun was not nice.

Please for the way home, don't turn 180 like you normally do and give me a headwind back too.

Your sincerely

A B Tired.

thought it was a bit harder than yesterday
  • I honestly cannot remember the last time I was on a bicyle in warm, calm weather - I think it was sometime just after the last Ice Age (the geophysical time period, not the cute animated movie franchise)

Wind is fuggin' mental down at Canary Wharf at the moment, people blown off their feet on the way to South Quay.

Using the handy "throw paper up in the air and measure the distance travelled per second" method, I estimate gusts of up to 800mph...

It does, but it is too bendy to cope with the wind pressure, so keeps popping out. Mine is a bit al fresco at the moment, waiting for better weather to do the work.

Go look at Bouy 62023 just South of Eire.

The whole map looks pretty damn scary right now.

Does that mean that I have to admit myself to the local psychiatric unit?

I am struggling to find what the problem could possibly be within that forecast.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • Was wondering why I was struggling to keep my train of thought in a meeting at the top of the gherkin, I then realised my body and others were being distracted by just how much the building was swaying. Not good.

Saw some cyclists getting nowhere into the wind, I just ripped a hole in it and passed on through.

Not thing like pulling left and letting Allez Man take a face full.
If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.

Left home when raining and had wind from the left, wind from the right, a headwind and a tailwind all within the time it's taken to read the sentence. This was in the first 2 miles then I turned onto the river and had a 3 mile tailwind and freewheeled at 18mph :D
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
