Waterproof shorts & padded

Im looking for waterproof shorts, been looking at the Endura MT500 short and 3/4, i know they only protect from the back so im looking for reccomendations and advice on other to please.

Also i could do with investing in some decent padded shorts for long rides on the HT, i have some padded muddy fox ones, but ive found when they get wet they start to hurt :lol:

    MT500s are good for keeping dry, they are waterproof where they need to be. Not tried any other brand of waterproof shorts. I use mine with padded Endura short inners (they just snap into the MT500's) for a bit of extra comfort.

    how have you found the padded liners in various weather and long trips?

    ive been running altura attack 3/4s for 3months and they are spot on.....
