Customising a full face helmet

I'm new to the DHing scene and have just bought my first full face helmet, thing is that I want to customise my helmet with something pink and/or glittery. Goodness only knows why? I've never wanted to do anything of the sort for XC, maybe it's the step into the super super testosterone filled sport that I feel the need to demonstrate my femininity??
I suspect I will get the visor bolts anodised pink but I had thought about getting some (discrete) stickers too. I'm not entirely sure where I could get these from, I had initially thought that car ones would be ok as they seem to be the easiest to get hold of? Does anyone have any other ideas of either what I could do to the helmet or where I could get stickers from? The helmet is a Giro Remedy and has a matt finish so I'm not sure how well a sticker would adhere....?
All suggestions very welcome! Ta

My mate has just 'sticker bombed' his SixSixOne Full face, he bought a sheet of 1000 stickers (from Amazon) and covered it with lacquer, not to my taste but he loves it.
Troy Lee Designs do Helmet Sticker kits, the Moto X ones look good... Flames, skulls, pistons, that kind of stuff.
I got a Giro Xen custom painted once for around £70... Rode in Coed Y Brenin, fell off, smashed it to pieces.... ;0(
Have you thought about going to a model shop that sells Radio Control Car paint that sticks to plastic?... They do sheets of flames or bubbles as a template and you mask it yourself and spray using fades and over spray...
Maybe worth getting creative?... Good luck!Ibis Mojo HD 2011 www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... t=12842777

Did wonder about doing something myself but am worried about messing it up and having a £100 helmet that looks crap (I'm not vain I promise).
The TLD stickers look good but not really what I'm after......think pink, flowers etc....0 -

How about.....
You mask off the lining, vents, etc.... paint it all the colour you like (or multiple colours....
Then, stick loads of these on... http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/22275 ... image.html
Then, paint it matt or gloss black, peel off the stickers... lacquer....
Awesome.... :0)Ibis Mojo HD 2011 www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... t=12842777

Ok, so what I mean is think discrete, tasteful, pink, flowers etc... ;o)0 -
I think you do it pink yourself.
Also you should get some little speakers mounted to your back or bike playing this
Then people will definitely recognise you're a girl.0 -

Masking off a fullface properly is not easy btw... (my old Arai smelled of paint for about 3 months after I sprayed it!) And you really don't want to get most solvent-based paints anywhere near the inner shell. Most waterbased should be safe though.
Some people even say that the glue in stickers can attack the helmet. Personally I doubt that but it's your call how safe you want to play.Uncompromising extremist0 -
Try looking in a copy of Motorcycle News (MCN to its friends) - there are plenty of people offering this service to the noisy sort of bikers who don't pedal, and it's the same deal for any sort of helmetSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015

Thanks for the ideas!
I think I may end up going down the custom spray route but after it has a few knocks and scrapes0
