The bike in it's current guise in the alps with some mud still on it. I swapped the brakes round before I went out and had to get new rotors as the formula ones were bent beyond belief. It's currently absolutely haggard though. Headset is totally shagged, as are all hub/freehub bearings, shock needs a service as the rebound packed up the other day, brakes need a bleed, rear wheel needs a true up, crank graphics are pretty shagged and I got through so many sets of pads it's unreal! Also managed to snap the peak, break the mouthpiece and separate the liner/outer on my lid... It was an expensive holiday!
EDIT: oh and i managed to sever the rear brake hose out there, that was a €60 fix and another day off the bike.
EDIT 2: oh yeah and I broke a mech as well...0 -
so basically, you need a new bike?0

Very nice indeedy. I have to say, I don't really like the look of Orange DH bikes at all but if I was to build a DH bike, I'd be aiming for pretty much what you have. There seems to be something reliable and trustworthy in an Orange DH frame which means it would very likely be my intro to the sport0

Cheers, yeah that's why I bought it. It's been a cheap but good introduction to the sport. There's still loads of these (well, more 222s than 223s) about as well.0
