So I've spent two day looking for a front shell setup and have decided its one of these

option 1: Hope Pro 2 Disc on Mavic XM719 Disc (ex display) £90

option 2: Shimano XT M756 on Fire Eye Excelerant LT Disc Rim 2012 £65

option 3: Shimano MT15 Wheels - White - Pair £85

I'm trying to save money and as I'm a new rider i'm likely to smash another rim.

Please vote and help me choose as Im so indecisive its unreal

Both the Shimano wheels have a good reputation as you would expect from a large company, though Hope are pretty damn good too.

Doubt very much as a new rider that you would smash another rim as you put it, I've been riding MTB's for 20 years now and only broken/damaged 3 wheels in that time. As long as you ride sensibly and keep your wheels in good clean, lubriated and the spoke tension right you should be fine.

I doubt your likly to notice much of a differnce with the wheel alone as the feel comes from the tyre so go with what you want and what you feel is right and ignore what others think as at the price range you are looking at the range of wheels you are looking at should all do the job well and be built to a good spec.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
