CTC Trail Leader / MIAS Level 1 / 2

Has anyone got any knowledge of either the CTC Trail Leader course or the MIAS Level 1 / 2 course?

I'm looking at doing something like this but there seems to be a big difference between the two courses in terms of length of the course and cost. Both websites claim their awards are the industry standard, etc. Not sure which one would be the best to go for.
It's all good fun until someone loses a bollock.

    No idea, but I've done the trail leader course so I know that you have to be able to do a trackstand in order to take kids on forest tracks not more than 2 miles from a landline phone.

    Did MIAS last year, it's easy. Not really done much with it since I passed though :?

    Levels 1 and 2, I believe it allows me to take small groups out around the Hampshire area
