So pt today, but on the train Was a bloke with an electrically assisted bike.

Defeating the object much?
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

    Why not?

If you want to nip to the shops or get to the office without breaking a sweat or if your not that fit and have a hilly commute etc. they are potentially great, better than a car or moped.

If I move into central I'll be seriously tempted by Bomptons Project X.

My point is it was on a train. So doubly bad.

Had meetings in my other office this morning - consulting takes me many places and the one with the most convenient facilities (and my clothes/shoes) is my client office. Not the one I had to go to.

Sounds like you need an electric bike, then you could get around to client offices without needing the train or breaking a sweat... ;)

I scalped a bloke on one yesterday. He couldn't have been older than 35 and looked trim enough. Think he was a bit annoyed to be passed as he kept trying to come back. If you're old/infirm then fine, but as a youngish bloke in London? No no no. Shameful.

You never know, he might be ill despite looking fine.

    This one wasn't riding it.

iPete... your commute is the wrong direction for me but I will have your scalp :)

If you were that ill you wouldn't be on a bid though, they're only "assisted" after all.

Lazy and the bikes themselves are unforgivably ugly.

Depends what the illness is. There's all sorts out there.

However I agree: laziness is ugly.
