Fox Talas Completed Service Problem

Hi guys, once more im asking questions...
Ive just serviced my talas 32 (2009) with fresh fluids throughout and new seals, i tried to get every last drop of oil out of the components to ensure only fresh oil was going in before reassembling, and now i have added the correct measures of oils the forks appear to have developed a slight notchyness when being compressed, it seems to happen around the first inch of travel but i cant tell which leg its coming from - im assuming its the damper.
What could have caused this as i followed the online videos and all went fine, nothing is worn or damaged and ive been gentle with everything, any ideas?
It didnt have this before hand and i can only assuming its a result of compressing all of the oil of of the damper system when it was outside of the forks, maybe the oil hasnt circulated properly yet or there is an air lock in the damper?
im a bit lost as you may tell!

If there is insufficient oil in the compression damper you'll get a notchiness as the piston hits the oil surface, so is the oil so low down the leg that the piston is 'dry' aty the top of the stroke?

I filled it as per the spec - 160ml, is there a way to check if there is enough in there? im wondering if perhaps due to the forks being well emptied i may need a tad more? The Frog: Lapierre Zesty 214 2010 - Upgraded - W.I.P0

I had the damper out again last night, made the stupid mistake of hammering the threaded end without the nut on so that caused me a problem or two however now its sorted anyway.
i couldnt locate the problem directly so i reassembled, re applied the oil (nearer 150ml than 160ml this time) and it seems much better, not perfect but much better. I dod also notice i hadnt seated the seal properly so with the assistance of a mallet and blunt screwdriver i tapped it into its seat.
now i seem to have developed absolute lockout also, which is nice. The Frog: Lapierre Zesty 214 2010 - Upgraded - W.I.P0
