Rockshox Revelations: Probably 2008?

I have some of these on a Cotic BFe, which is currently in a store room , until I get a bigger house ....
Anyway - went up to the store room to move all the stuff around , as we do every few weeks. We sell stuff , we throw stuff away, but what is left always occupies more space :?

The two bikes store in there go in last - and are not rammed in at any funny angles etc.
So I was surprised to find the red adjuster from the bottom of the fork leg, lying on the floor !!

Why has this fallen out?
How can I re attach?
Does it need a whole for rebuild?

Thanks

It's just a small Allen key for adjusting the rebound.

Famous for it. What I did to prevent it was, I took them all out and put them somewhere safe to stop them getting lost.

    ...

Anyone got any idea where that somewhere safe was?

In over 1 year of riding, the rebound adjuster on my revs hasnt fallen out. It seems to "click" slightly as you push it in-I think there might be some split washer or something that makes it less likely to come out. Not sure if the 2008 revs had this, mine are a later model.

If you still have QR turn them so the lever is below the adjuster. If it comes loose it will be caught by the lever. Simple and in FAQ.

    Thanks ...
The shape of the adjuster doesn't allow me to do that
Never mind , thanks for the suggestion

Just make sure it has the O ring and squeeze it a bit to squash it on.
