New bike advice

I've just won a Trek 1.5 (2009) (http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2009/archive/15) the lime green and white version on ebay for £500 including some accessories. Im debating whether or not to go ahead with the purchase of the bike or go to the shop and buy a new one? Can anyone advise me on the best thing to do?

    If you weren't sure, why did you bid on it? Out of principle alone you should honour your bid.

    Weirdly I've always liked this colour scheme. Wouldn't pay more than £400 for a good condition one though.
