Morning everyone, due to someone blowing my phone up at like 6am, i'm awake. Getting things ready now to be able to fly back to England later today, and finishing off a presentation for my first meeting which takes place a smooth 2 hours after I land. Let's hope customs and immigration let me immigrant self back in.

Mehning.
Well, concert last night went really well, better than expected. I helped with packing everything up and taking it back to work, so I was back in work at 10. Then walked home, so got home around 11. Feck I'm tired today. I really feel I could sleep another day.
Today will consist of zombying around the place, trying to act professional.
LatersIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

What up, goat tuppers?
Didn't die on the commute, dispite the pea-souper fog. Drivers were being very cautious, and that helps in the survival lottery.
Today will feature more composites and some welding. Should be a good day. Tomorrow less so, as I've got to dig out a load of standards for review concerning impact damage. How lucky am I, eh? Yeah, how'dya like them apples?
It'll be s**t.
However, at the moment, I have youtube and interwebs, so I'm spending my first few minutes genning up on Northern Euroean industrial, reading BR and consuming the coffee which I'm about to potter over and collect.
Onwards! How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Morning losers!
After a night in Brewdog Nottingham my head feels surprisingly clear. I did consume some very strong and great tasting beers, including a brew that's 41%. It was like drinking petrol. Tasty petrol though
Caffeine is being consumed for the working day ahead, a quick pedal in today hopefully followed by a slightly longer pedal home at 7pm.

Still freezing after a very cold ride in to work. Tea on my desk is cold, this isn't good enough0 -
Morning all,
Interesting drive today, no visibility, and loads of drivers because its day time who wouldn't put there lights on, personally i think they were just pretending to be ghosts so they could jump out of the fog at people.
Much venting was done0 -

Morning frotters & frottees
Woke up far too early due to bad back > bad back due to pushing a bit too hard on the turbo before back had healed properly... down to tescos chemist this morning to try new wonder back pain product 'Voltarol'.
I doubt it will do much, other than rape my pocket for the £5 purchase price  .... but it is thursday 'start of the weekend' beers tonight - I think numbing with alcohol will be a much more successful and enjoyable remedy.0 -
Morning Geeks & Geekettes,
Got a last minute invite to a pub quiz last night from a mate who needed a ringer for the team. We only lost out on the tie break to a bunch of beardy tw@ts who had on their team a bloke with a photographic memory and who used to win 'Countdown' in spades. Still, second prize bottle of wine = Win :-)
Today will be spent doing odds n sods and generally being lazy."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Lectures this afternoon are cancelled, wish I didn't have so much work to do otherwise I'd be sat in a beer garden (on the soft drinks obviously, lent still going strong) instead of being in a stiflingly warm computer room.
2 weeks today and I'll be out on the bike again, can't wait. Picked up the gopro chest mount earlier, managed to haggle a decent discount as well.0 -

I enjoyed it, it was like drinking liqueur. I popped in there on Saturday too, but it was so busy that we only stopped for one. I did sample one called 'Hops kill Robin Hood' last night and that is my favourite of their range so far.bicyclepirate wrote:Meh, long gym session planned for tonigh, might even say to see foxc hop! Laters,
Go and sample it. It's called 'Sink the Bismark' Just don't go for a smoke afterwards, you may explode0
