We have a 4 page review in the JUNE issue of MBR... fantastic! Now we just need the rain to stop and the trails to dry out a bit - otherwise just remember your mud tyresVitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

Hi, rode the trail this weekend at the QECP cycle fest. Good work. I really like the complete downhill from about the 3/4 point.
Do you have a trail map anywhere?0 -
Here you go. I've also added, in yellow, some handy shortcuts - we were cutting across to session Snakes and Ladders and then riding Lumberjack through to Final Descent on Demo Day.

visited QECP last night - nice work on the new track!
particularly enjoyed it from the snakebite section onward the first section was saturated and the roots and gradient were just too much for my tired legs!0 -

Check out Rupert’s EXCELLENT documentary on mountain biking at QECP over the last 20 years, featuring an all star cast of Phil Ligget, Rob Warner, Tony “Jedi” Doyle and….. er.. Dave Goulson! Even if you have no interest in the park itself its a nice little history lesson on how mountain biking has changed and developed into the amazing sport it is now.
A big thank you to Phil, Rob, Tony and everyone else involved in the documentary for being so generous with their time. The documentary also features Rob getting steezy on the red trail! Well, steezy for someone thats in their 40′s anyway!

Gave the Red Route a going over yesterday morning in the drizzle. You need a sign at the bottom warning "Slippery when wet!" The combination of tree roots and chalk in the damp is vicious! Watch out for those diagonal snakes.
Hard work but great fun and was covered from head to foot in muck by the end. Well done to all the trail builders. It is fantastic to have something like this so close to home. particularly enjoyed the North Shore section through the overgrown nettles! Thanks guys.

New bit of trail was added to the red route on the weekend ant the end of lumberjack. Called "Ghost Cat" its not very long but hopefully it will add a bit more flow to the trail.0

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to all those who worked on the trail. I used to ride QE 20 years ago on my Pace RC200 and today was the first time back since then. It was nice to recognise some bits but there was a lot of new route which was great. The switchbacks were good fun and better than just hanging off the back of the saddle and going straight down (pre suspension made this, hairy). Hopefully it won't be another 20 years before I get back.0

Cheers Butterd.
