Is anyone else getting the adverts for weird shoes?

I'd be very worried if this is based on my browsing history and they think I'm a likely customer - the banner advert at the top of my Bike Radar page is for "Vibram Fivefinger" shoes (and the name sounds like something even weirder, by the way) which come with individual toe slots. Can anyone envisage a good reason for getting these things, other than maybe picking up coins in the street with your toes?

Lovely! Can't even imagine a "distressed kangaroo" buying them.0

they are for minimalist running (basically like barefoot running but with a bit of protection for your feet)
supposedly quite effective if you are into that sort of thing0 -
