Five Ten - sizes

I normally take 9.5 in a shoe but I have had three pairs of these from CRC so far 9.5, 10 and 10.5 - all are too small. The 9.5's just felt a little tight but the 10's and 10.5's feel litle different in size.

Was thinking of using CRCs excellent free returns service to return the 10.5s and order size 11 but wondered whether all Five Tens are the same size :). All the shoes have been to short (toes touching end) and have felt a bit tight width wise

Seriously has anyone else found this with Five Tens - are they known to come upa size or two small?

    Thanks. These were Impacts.

What would you recommend as an alternate to Five Ten Impacts?

I'm normall a 9.5 and got a 10. Width was good but I think they are a tad short when off the bike, however when riding no issue at all.

I would look at the freeriders from Five Ten, bit lighter than the inpacts. I put a water resistance treatment on mine on day of purchase and have yet to get my feet wet.
  • I have the minaar as they were on offer - usually a size 9.5, I could only get the 10 and they fit great with a thick pair of socks.

I'll probably try a pair of size 11 impacts - CRC offer a free return service so I might was well make use of it - hopefully the next size up with give my toes a bit of wiggle room.
