Hi,
First post here - which is the best bike for light trails and cross country riding? It's
on our bike to work scheme run by cycle solutions so some brands are unavailable. My shortlist is below, I favour the revel 0 due to group set and fork, is it the right choice? Budget is £700.
giant revel 0 Ltd 2012
Giant talon 2 2012
Scott aspect 20 2012
Felt sport 29er 2012
Thanks

The Talon has the best fork, though not too far ahead of the RS XC on the Felt and Giant, the Giant has by far the best drivetrain, on that basis I'd take the Giant myself.
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
One of those two I agree.
We've seen this place before. Seem to have a big chunk of the scheme, and IMO slightly rip off prices.
Depending on your tax rate, it might be worthwhile just looking for a good deal off the scheme.
Both of these are probably better and much cheaper.
