Cannock Chase downhills on Saturdays

Hi,

I used to do just the Monkey and Dog all the time at CC until recently when I discovered the downhills at Stile Cop. I could do with beginner/intermediate downhiller(s) to ride with on Saturdays, I will do pretty much everything there apart from the "three skull and crossbones" trails which I'm still building up to (and may be for a while yet!) I don't have a specialist downhill bike but I have 160mm travel so not far off.

Give me a shout if you are looking for people to ride with, on Saturdays mainly, also around any holiday times. Planning on going this Saturday morning hopefully. I'm 34 by the way.

Cheers. J

I want to get back down there myself, went about a year ago and only tried one of the reds, was above my level then..
Been doing a lot more recently so can't wait to have another bash so may well give you a shout in the next couple of weeks :)

160mm's plenty by the way, same as I have.

I'll give you a shout if I head up any time soon, mostly ride in the holidays as I'm stuck down at uni at the moment. 160mm is fine for that stuff, I usually ride it on 160mm HT but have ridden it on an xc bike just fine too, just can't go quite as fast
