Elixirs and RT76s

Quite like the Elixir 5s on the Voltage but I also like Shimano RT76 rotors.
I had to remove the pad tab on some J3s when I used them with RT76s but I wondered if Elixir calipers need anything more serious to make them work Shimano's finest?
