Pug 107 rack

Anyone ride with a peugeot 107? A friend has just got a bike, and has a 107, but with an anti-bike tailgate (all glass) the fitted racks are coming up at about £140.
I was wondering if anyone had used a cheaper option with success? She isnt the tallest lass, so putting the bike in the roof is not a wanted option.
Many thanks for any help.

I've got a Citroen C1, which is essentially the same car. I don't bother with racks. 2 people and 2 bikes can fit in the car with the seats down*...
*granted, both wheels and post have to be taken off, but it's not that much stress.
I always have a few towels or sheets in the boot, just in case it's a muddy ride.. chuck them down first, keeps the car clean enough.
If your mate is adamant they don't want the bike in the car, then find the rack you need, then hunt a used one down on ebay or something.0 -
I have a Toyota Aygo and bought a roof-rack along with two bike-carriers for (I think) £75 last spring.
The Bicirack bike holders aren't as quick and easy to use as the (far more expensive) Thule offerings, but they're ideal for occasional use
