Whilst it's interesting to see someone try something new, it seems that this is unnecessarily complex. I struggle to see how it could require less maintenance than a normal drivetrain - there's more moving parts to maintain than the string itself (and besides any half-decent biker will be using the string for other things eh?). It also seems that the journalist is fawning over the designers for no good reason..
