trek session 8 (2012) max tyre size?

anyone know whether or not muddy mary 2.5 would be too big for a 2012 session 8

    I highly doubt a downhill bike will have problems with a 2.5 tyre

    thats what i thought, i shouldnt imagine there would be an issue, but the 2.5 MM's are quite big compared to say a maxxis HR.

    Hmm, to be fair I have no idea of actual clearance numbers for that bike, but i'd assume it should be ok. Hopefully someone with a bit of brains will come along soon hehe

    its more that Maxxis tyres are loads smaller than most other manufacturer, like for like.
