Swinging into Pomeroy Street from Old Kent Road, maybe going slightly fast, bike just slid from under me. Luckily, I absorbed most of the impact with my right thigh/forearm. Bike is fine. I've got road rash.

Adrenalin didn't half see me fly up Pepys Road, though.

I did similar last friday (on closer inspection hit a drain cover) got home and the bike in the light and discovered blood all over my bars/light/shifter.

Also been sleeping on my side for a week, road rash hurts!
