Frame Compatability

I bought a trek fuel 70 a little while back and my frame cracked! Apparently it's a pretty common fault with that model. The warranty is void and welding didn't work so i need to find a good frame to upgrade to. The only problem is I have no idea where to start. I know I can do the upgrade myself I'm just really worried about part compatibility since I want to just transfer everything over from the fuel. Here are the bike specifications mine is the 17.5"

Ina more broad sense what goes into making sure you can swap out a frame.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks - John

Is all about looking up compatibilty, ie: headset type, seatpost size, seatclamp, fork steerer length, front derailer fit (type, pull and swing), cable routing, bottom bracket standard.
Find a frame you like and compare! Almost inevitable you will need some new parts.
OR... buy a whole new bike, and swap the parts that will swap (if better), sell the rest. Often cheaper!
