Removing fork decals - best way?

Ok, so not quite workshop/tech, but I'm unsure of the best way to remove fork decals (fox, if thats any help), to replace with shiny new ones.

I guess the best way is to use a heat gun, but what if you don't have one? Would a hair dryer loosen the adhesive on the vinyl enough to peel it off, or are there better suggestions?

Any help on such a n00bish question would be greatly appreciated. :)

If they aren't laquered over a hairdryer works just fine, better than a heat gun as it won't get hot enough to damage the paint!

As Simon says (no pun intended!) Hairdryer if they are not lacquered over, if any residue left behind use isopropanol to wipe it off.
