Right,

Brought my road bike into London yesterday to take it over to Swift Cycles for one of their service specials.

I've never ridden from the west into the City, but thought that it couldn't be that hard to get from Paddington into work on Gracechurch St.

Anyway, seems that, for me, it is. After finding myself on Regent St, and running late for a meeting I relented and ended up spending £15 on a cab!!!

So, back to Paddington tonight with the bike.

Can anybody recommend a way to go so that, even a fool like me, won't get lost?

Thinking down To Thames St, then along Embankment, head up from Westminster over PS and onto Birdcage Walk. And this is where I'm undecided. Either Constitution Hill then Park Lane, onto Bayswater and just make my way up to Paddington from there, or from Park Lane go along S Carriage Dr onto W Carriage Dr and head up from there..

Cheers,
FJ
