Not meaning to hijack this thread. But is it really compulsory to have the rear red reflectors that come with your bike on? I read on cyclecraft the other day that it is compulsory for the rear ones to be on the bike.
Front one and the ones on the wheel though are not compulsory according to the book.0 -

Rule 60 starts with "at night" in the first sentence - does that not mean the whole of the rule only applies at night?0
