Recommend me a Turbo Trainer

Hi all
I'm till a noob to all this cycling malarky and whilst I'm keen, I'm struggling to get out as often as I'd like. I've agreed to do a 100 mile charity ride on 2nd June and need to make sure I get the time in the saddle. I've therefore decided to invest in a turbo trainer - but which one?
I'm 51, new to cycling but fit by most objective standards. I weigh around 80 kg. I'd like to replicate the road resistance as closely as possible. I'd like a computer to tell me how I'm doing / progressing. I dont want it to be too noisy and need to be able to store it away when not in use. So, which turbo for me?
Thanks
Kev

Including my own rather brilliant and detailed review of my own turbo (if I say so myself!) [PS why is there no smiley icon for smug?]
PS - I should have said I am still delighted with it and have used it loads now (still nowhere near being able to beat it though)
PS - Again I have edited as I just realised my turbo doesn't have a computer so I just put my cycle computer on the rear wheel so reads time spent, distance and speed (neither of the latter are very accurate on a turbo obviously but it does help compare and saves loads over a turbo with computer built in).0
