Im quite new into mountain biking, and this year want to plan some riding somewhere other than my local trail and countryside.
Im quite interested in scenic rides aswell as good trails. Lakes, mountains, countryside, just somewhere that makes you stop and take in the view.
Anyone got any reccomendations, and any pictures of the view?

Thanks for the replies and pictures, every single picture shows exactly what Im looking for!
Most of these places are quite far away from me (Peterborough) so I would make a few days of it. Does cyclist friendly accomodation let you keep your bikes in a secure garage or anything like that?0 -
