Seat Clamp slippage

Hello
Rockhopper 2010 with a richey v2 seatpost. More recently I have been getting slippage of the seat tube I was wondering whether there are any tips to stop this? I am cranking the clamp as hard as I can but this still happens. There is a lot of rub of the paint around where it drops so wonder whether this could be the cause.
Thought about getting a clamp with a larger lever, but don't want to buy a new seatpost as need 400mm and the selection with layback is a little poor!

Changing to a bolt up seat collar usually fixes this. However it may be a tolerance issue - is it the same with other posts?
Some greases are available to that help 'grip'.0 -
my santacrux heckler used to do this so did my pace rc305.. i changed seat clamps and got chromag ones which stopped it... or you could butcher an coke can to make a thin shim...www.bearbackbiking.com

Went with 386ka suggestion. Seems to have work, but also greased up the clamp which I am sure has helped get a higher torque.

Hmmmmnn
Suffering the same problem and have a Hope bolt set collar. May steal the Hope quick release from the wife to see if it helps. Just ordered some Carbon paste for Carbon to Carbon for my road bike. Ideas if it works with ALU to ALU for the MTB?0
