Reverb length? Help

I want to get a 30.9 reverb 125mm. I know they come in to different lengths and I think either length is an option for me for my frame. Cant find the answes on any reviews or the Sram site. Question is - does anyone know the size from centre of seat clamp to max insertion point. I currently have my seat post maxed out at around 250mm and i was hoping for about 5-10mm more if possible. I take it this size varies on the different length posts.

Minimum insertion point (minimum amount of seatpost in the frame) is usually 8-10cm. At full extension, a 380mm reverb will therefore be roughly 280mm out from the seatclamp. A 420mm one will be 4cm more than this.0

Just go for the 420/125 like I did. Any excess post will only stiffen the frame up. Simples.0
