Cleaning carbon wheels

I've just taken delivery of some nice, shiny carbon wheels from Wheelsmith, and very good they are too. The only issue is that after a bit of bedding in, the yellow pads have been leaving a lot of residue on the brake track and now the brakes have started squealing very, very loudly when applied with vigour. Any tips on what to use to clean the tracks and remove the residue without damaging the wheels?

Don't use water, you will melt the carbon.

Direct from ZIPP on cleaning Carbon wheels...

    CARE AND CLEANING
Any cleaner that will not affect epoxy resins is acceptable for your rims. Acetone or
denatured alcohol work quite well on the rims but will ruin the decals, so be careful when
using. Armor All leaves a nice shine on the rim when finished, and is a quick and easy way
to make your wheels look new again. Goof Off or any product intended to remove latex
paint will also work well to remove tubular tire glue. Do not use any tools to install tubular
tires on or remove them from your carbon rims.

Thanks, but I'm not sure about using Amor All that leaves a nice shine on the brake tracks! I think I'll be trying the alcohol route, possibly with some fine wet'n'dry to clean the tracks
