I'm looking into getting the new Pinarello FP Due 105. Has anyone had any experiences of Pinarello's in the past?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes - a few years back I had a pinarello surprise. Which was a low end pinarello at the time. Worth every last penny - an absolute monster of a bike - the accleration and stiffness took my breath away the first time I spun the pedals...and it was still get admirring comments many year later.
There will those who say - youre paying for the name, flashhy paint job. My advice is don't die never having owned a pinarello ......and consider this...I brought mine for £1100 - had it eight years .....sold it for £600
be sureto post some photos up here of it.0 -
Ditto the above, you will not regret buying one. I have an FP2 with full 105 and love it.0

I've been riding a Prince since 2008 and it's bloody marvellous.

Have an FP3 with Campag. Many upgrades over the last few years - 50mm carbon rims, Chorus shifters and mechs, Fizik Aliante saddle, Speedplay Zero stainless pedals.
It really does ride well, especially at speed descending and cornering - very sure footed. Always gets admiring comments. I like it a lot.
I think the framesets seem very good, the kit you fit it out with varies with budget. I took the approach of buying the best bike I could for my budget and then upgrading subsequently as time/money/ wife allowed. I lie, the wife isn't involved!

love my pinarello, upgraded alot as well.
the only downside to mine is that it is the sky colour scheme get the public turning heads all the time! its a bit daunting when i am huffing and puffing!
