Hello people,

I'm doing a survey about cycling and mountain biking for my Masters dissertation. I need lots of people who either cycle and/or mountain bike to fill in my survey.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T2KT7BT

Also I'm looking for people to interview and will pay £10 for a 20-30 minute survey. If you'd like to be considered for an interview, please remember to provide some contact details in the survey.

ps I hope this is the right place to put this. Apologies if it isnt.

thanks

Heather

Most of us do it for nothing, so are technically sluts.

But I agree with you on the surveys

Although from other recent surveys, this doesn't seem too objectionable.

    Thanks for all the replies.

I'm pretty sure I did post, but they seem to have got deleted at some point (maybe some kind of tech changeover? or i may just be getting old and forgetful). I'm sure it was something inane like 'what's the best bike for £300?' or 'who wants to go riding' though. Unfortunately this stupid degree means that I dont have much spare time for things like forums, so I think Ive only done a few gear reviews recently. But yes, it is cheeky, which is why i'm trying to bribe people

Apparently some people didnt understand the questions about unofficial trails v official trail. I just mean something that's way-marked or advertised as a mountain biking trail versus just riding in the countryside (or wherever).

Not necessarily, I joined in 2003 (albeit I think it was the MBUK forums back then) and never post, doesn't mean that I don't have an interest in the forum.

I think what he means is you don't spend your day posting random rubbish.

Done, I thought it was among the better ones, so I'm prepared to be interviewed as well.

"unofficial trails v official trail"... yes, I read this as "cheeky, not strictly legal, trails" vs "completely legit trails including both MTB trails and bridleways etc".

I took it as trail centres vs just riding.

Ditto. There are very few places around here where it is actually illegal to ride.

Riding on footpaths or bridelways may be trespassing but it's not illegal!

Certainly a much much better thought out survey than many that get posted here, and while, like CD I'm a slut, if someone wants to pay me......
