This looks a great wee event, and only £6 too (charity)....Fantastic scenery, prize for best vintage/retro steed, and if you hang about you can check out the fast guys (Endura, Rapha, etc etc) mashing it up on the Sunday at the Davy Bell Road Race, which uses most of the same route...

    Can't wait for this, it's going to be a huge weekend for the area with the Olympic torch on Friday morning, Highwayman Challenge on Saturday and the Davie Bell on Sunday - doesn't get much better!

    Worth noting, no entry on the day for this one, and places are filling up....Entry Central closes in May.....Im currently polishing my MKM steel steed, and blinging up my Wolber's, with a view to clinching the retro-bike prize....Easy!!

    There has been a route change to the big race on the Sunday - it now includes ALL the killer climbs...Ouch!!
