Hi all

I'm looking to get some good quality bib shorts for "best days"" such as races/sportives/MTB enduros etc. I am prepared to spend some decent money as they ll only be used on special days where i'm doing 100-150+ sportives or 50km/24hr MTB rides, I ll keep the club kit/cheaper Endura for the 60k club run/muddy off road ride.

I am the peculiar body shape which Endura fit for and I ve had some Endura bib shorts for several years which have been perfectly comfortable for shorter days and reviews i ve read suggest that the comfort shots are the ones I'm after. I ve got some gloves from the same range and have been impressed thus far....

Does anyone have any experience of the Equipe Endurance shorts? Are there any other options around the GBP100 mark (I'm not paying high end Assos/Castelli prices for MTB, they ll inevitably be destroyed by an innocuous fall first time out)

Many Thanks!

aren't the equipe shorts about 90quid? i got a pair for xmas and had to send them back because the sizing was all over the place. the grippers were too tight and the crotch was about 3 inches too low, so my knackers were dangling when i stood up which caused problems when i sat back down.

i ended up getting another pair of giordana silverline techblend and they're superb, paid about 75quid. they're my second pair of giordanas, the others were equally good. sizinf is standard too which helps

See your probably a cyclist shape - I'm not (at all!) and for some reason, Endura fits me well....

I think everyone else must be oddly shaped !!
I'm 6'2" with a 32" waist and 33" inside leg, which I think is pretty standard proportions, and the Equipe range fits me perfectly.

I bought a pair of the Equipe Thermo windshield bib longs just after Christmas and they're superb !!! Fit is great and the pad is excellent. Based on their performance, I shall be getting a pair of the Endurance shorts for the summer !!

As i don't own the Equipe bib shorts yet, the favorite shorts I own are the Craft Elite shorts, they're by far teh best I've owned and worth a look:

They only appear to have one pair of the Elite Attacks left(unless you want one of the versions of the Team Leopard shorts ?), but they do have the Elite Bodycontrol.
