Potentially stupid disc brake question (hope)

So, Im ready for the howls of derision....

Is there actually any difference in the calipers for hope brakes between front & back? ie could I swap a rear caliper onto the hose/front lever.

(Hope M4's if it helps)

    the calipers (if post mount) are identical.

    if IS mount they are different see the info in the FAQs.
