Can anyone tell me how the Etxeondo Bib shorts compare to Assos in size. If I'm large in Assos will I be Large in Etxeondo? Thanks.

Just look up the size guide - I've had assos and etxeondo stuff in the last year or so and in both cases the size guides were bang on. Remember there's not many companies where their size guide is totally off the wall, people pay too much attention to crap spouted by people along the lines of "a real world Large" or "fits like a normal XL" - the letters mean buggerall without the corresponding size guide.

I blame the Americans - their 'flattery' sizing system means that anything designed by/for the US market is almost by default 2" bigger than stated on the label.

  • Thanks for the Replys guys. According to Assos size guide I should be large but I've had 5 pairs of Assos shorts and they've all been XL. I bought 1 pair of large and they were way too tight height wise. The Etxeondo size chart just goes on waist size. I'm 30 to 32 waist but 6ft 1 inch. Tall and skinny, I've tried on lots of makes in the past that have been too tight height wise if the leg and waist are snug but baggy in the leg if the height is comfortable. I've looked at the size guides but was really asking for some first hand experience. Will large in Etxeondo be OK height wise?

IME ExteOndo and Assos shorts size up the same. I'm 5'10" and 32" waist and am Large in both. Suggest you'd be XL for your height. There's no apparent difference in the height/girth of the 2 fit of the two brands so far as I can tell.
