Feck me! That's unbelievable!
He'll struggle getting employment when he's released! It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

He had it coming!
Cyclists shouldn't be on the road anyway, they don't take a test and don't pay road tax.
The bus driver is a hero, hopefully next time he'll have the sense to reverse.0 -
yeah i saw this a while back, what a dick!!
he's a speccy looking tw@t aswell!!! :x0 -

oh i should probably clarify, i was on about the cyclist0
-
Broken leg, pah, that barely counts as an injury anyway. Cyclists needs to man up and take a leaf out of his book... vv

yep, im suprised he didnt protect himself with his own sense of smug satisfaction, what a knob.Raymondavalon wrote:The cyclist lived, so what's the issue here?
yep, you'd think his legs would be stronger with all that cycling. looks to me like he swerved into the bus anyway.0 -
Raymondavalon wrote:The cyclist lived, so what's the issue here?
yeah, i mean if he'd died he'd really have something to complain about0 -
The cyclist can clearly be seen swerving about and cycling in the middle of that very wide road, trying to stop the bus overtaking him.....!!!! Bet he won't be trying that again....!!!2011 Whyte 905

Must have been the helmet that saved his life.
Some people heard they cause more injuries than they prevent. It's not true you know.0 -

helmets only help prevent injuries, i cant believe it isnt law to wear one on the road. just plain stupid if you ask me.0 -
17 month is bloody ridiculous though for what happened. I'd have given him a medal, and one of those cattle clearers you find on trains in the olden days.0

I hope he's shaved up his crack a bit, Big Gordon the lifer has just dropped the soap bar and is waiting for Fat Gav to 'help him out'.....Peter0

Was his bike ok?0

This is so common it seems.
I've only recently started cycling to and from work in the last few months and even then occassionally. Drivers, particularly those with big heavy vehicles like buses and trucks do not like being over taken by bikers. I've had it where buses have driven so close to me that the wind has made me swerve and i've been so scared, and i've had some one in some kind of massive road works type construction truck swerve at me like that for no reason apart from he was stuck in traffic and I rode past, he later over took and tried to take me out.
Do these idiots not realise they can kill someone?0 -
You shouldn't be riding on the road anyway. You've got no right to be there as you don't pay road tax.
Stop being such a hippie and get a car like a normal person!0 -
the best thing for everyone concerned is for bikes to be banned form the road or cyclists should have to pass a mandatory cycling license and should pay for road tax and insurance. it is the only fair way to do it.
i would say that once those criteria have been met, cyclst deserve equal rights. up until then, road cyclists should fuck off.0 -
They should also be forced to wear helmets, like motorists are forced to wear seatbelts.0

couldnt agree more.
it is for their own safety as it is proven that helmets prevent all injuries when cycling.0 -
