Are they any good. We bought a second hand car that came with a scratch done by a key, so it it quite deep, on one of the passenger door. Is it worth spend £6 to £8 on one of those kit? Thanks

Depends. If the car's an old knacker that you're not too bothered about. Just take the cheapest opption that will help prevent any rust.
Personally, I'd try to polish it out first. But it sounds like that's not gonna work.
If you care about it, get it done professionally. It'll cost significantly more, but you get what you pay for...0 -
in my experience those repair kits are a waste of money, better off getting one of those mobile repair guys round if you want a proper job doing...
if the scratch is deep as you say it will probably require a little bit of filling before painting to get it smooth...
i have used those mobile guys before with impressive results...www.bearbackbiking.com

Thanks guys, it is what I thought, I will check with one of those mobile unit repair guy. I don't know what's wrong with people to go and scratch somebody's car whatever the problem is.

it's like why do people hit your car on a supermarket carpark then just drive off leaving you to foot the bill...www.bearbackbiking.com
