The Rough Ride Guide shop: It's nice to be nice.

You don't often see these threads pop up, so I thought I'd post one.

As a congratulory pat-on-the-back present for being off the cigs for 8 weeks, I decided to treat myself to a Wingnut Hyper pack from the Rough Ride Guide (fancied having one for a while, you see). However, after a week of nothing turning up, I decided to shoot an email over to them yesterday asking about it.

Less than an hour later, I get a reply apologising about it not having arrived and a promise that one will turn up tomorrow. I get to work this morning and find a jiffy bag waiting on my desk from the Rough Ride Guide shop, containing my new pack.

It's easy to get narky (and blame Wiggle) when things go wrong, but by the same token you should give credit where it's due. Regardless of whether it was their fault or not (I'm more inclined to believe it was the Post Office), the Guys at Rough Ride Guide fixed the problem with speed and politeness and made me a happy customer who will shop there again.

As I said in the title, it's nice to be nice.
