Anyone done any of these?

ON the CRC site they are showing tehm starting on 6 May in the Forest of Dean although the VITUS site is not showing a FoD event, anyone entered or got any info, the organisers are engaged on the phone.

I don't think Chain Reaction/Vitus have taken it over as such, probably bought into it so its become part of the Vitus series.
If that's the case then I think it's a really good event, I did it a few years ago and mostly enjoyed the experience. There were a couple of tough climbs which I had to get off and push on, and the traffic on Symonds Yat was a bit of a nightmare but I did enjoy it, the scenery around there is lovely and there was well stocked food stops.
It was a bit shambolic trying to get my certificate at the end standing around for ages, that was the only negative for me and I see that the start/finish venue has been moved for 2012 so hopefully that will have been sorted by now. I'm thinking about doing it again this year.
The other events I know nothing about I'm afraid, though the Ruthin one is local to me so maybeI'll do that aswel.
