my brand new carbon frames got a dent in it is this normal

hi. i have resently just bought a whyte e120s carbon frame from winstanleys, when the frame arived i noticed a very small dent on one of the rear triangeles. I can not get a good photo of it because it is only small, i have never had a carbon frame before and i was wondering if this could just be a manufactering flawer or do i need to be worried.................thanks

    maybe maybe not.

    frames can have depressions for a reason. carbon does not really dent.

    With nick, you cannot dent a carbon frame, the material has to fracture as it can't fail elastically (stretch - as metal does when you dent it), I suspect its either a small error in the mould/moulding of the frame or put there for a reason such as a datum point for some purpose.
