Hi all

Just thought i'd share some pics of my new Kinesis KR810.

I got it on a great deal just before xmas and moved all the bits across from my Cannondale. Some bits are nothing special but I will be up-grading over time. Its a size 54 which is suprising as i'm 6'5" tall but the sizing is virtually the same as an old Allez I had that fit me perfectly. Here are some pics:

    Good solid ride that sir

How do you find the Sora shifters work with the 105 mechs? I would have thought the shifters are 9 speed and the rear mech 10?
  • Thanks. The shifters and mechs work fine. I knew it wouldn't be a problem with 9 speed but was concerned as Shimano say to use only 5700 shifters with the mechs. Marketing ploy I think!
  • Looking smart Wilko.

Cripes you must be bendy. That's a hooge saddle to bar drop!

    Nice bike though
  • Yes it does look like a bit of a drop. It feels OK though. I have long legs and arms and a short body so fits quite well. The saddle height isn't quite right yet either so may come down a bit and I might flip the stem so it rises slightly.
  • Just been out for the first proper ride and it all feels pretty good (despite the saddle to bar drop!). Feels much more comfortable than my old CAAD8. Seems to soak up the bumps a lot more. Just need to get my legs up to speed now!
