100 mile route in the South East

Does anyone know of or has ridden a 100 mile route in the SE of england. The obvious one is the SDW but for transport reasons it might not be the easiest to squeeze into a day. I set myself some targets at the start of the year and this is the one I am having trouble planning. Any help would be much appreciated.
I am in the surrey/london area so could probably spend a while plannning one out but was just curious if anyone has seen anything already planned out!
Cheers
Alan

I'd do Surrey Hills, link to North Downs then head over to Swinley/Tunnel Hill area, could possibly get a route for you, a friend has done such rides.0

British Heart Foundation do a 75 mile London to Brighton each year - you could do that and add an extra loop in somewhere, or just steal their route as a start.

Someone who did it before has some info here: http://www.mtbbritain.co.uk/forum/index ... ded&start=
Of particular interest might be this post:
I recently cycled London to Brighton off road with 9 other riders. Total of 85 miles and we threw in Leith Hill, Pitch Hill for fun. This was the route: Hayes to Brighton http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/MT ... o-Brighton
14 hours total with I think 8 hours ride time.
Looks like a nice ride and the London start might suit you.0 -
That includes the Downs Link as a significant proportion, which is rather dull, and unless you turn around and come back again (which would get the distance up) you still end up in the wrong place.0

Myself and 2 others did the brighton trip last year at the end of August. Started in Banstead-epsom-ashstead up onto ranmore then the three hills with a lot of other singletrack courtesy of one of the other guys then down into cranleigh. Downs link onto the SDW and dropped into brighton from the devils dyke. I have thought of that and wouldnt mind finishing in brighton as it a quick train ride back after a celebratory pint but doing the downs link is a bit dull if there are better options out there.
njee, if you do know someone that has done something like that it would be much appreciated. I can find my way round surrey hills but further east towards guilford/swinley is unknown. That was one idea, try and do an epic to take in swinley as well but not knowing the route might be a problem!Banstead in Surrey to Russell square and back

I shall have a gander - leave it with me! You may have to do the bit to the east, to get to the Surrey Hills, Ben wouldn't have gone that far over.0

thats really useful, thanks for your help.
There are no long distance organised events in the south east are there? I have been looking but not had much successBanstead in Surrey to Russell square and back

Not that long, there are Evans 'Ride-It' events, or lap based enduros (you could do the Gorrick 12:12 in August, but that's just going round in circles for 100 miles).0
