Getting Fitted for a New Bike - Advice?

I've got a new Specialized Tarmac Comp (which I already LOVE!) and yet I am becoming increasingly convinced that it might be giving me some physical problems of a testicular nature.

I've been riding for a while, have found my 'grail-saddle' (ISM) and previously I've never had any real problems in terms of setting up a good riding position.

Given my current levels of pain and discomfort and my inability to find a perfect fit yet - I've been wondering about going in for a professional bike-fitting session.

Has anyone got any (constructive) comments about this process - of its merits and downfalls, pricing and the best places to go?

All advice gratefully received - I want to be starting some serious training and this is hampering my preparations... :(

    Cadence Sport http://cadencesport.co.uk/

If you can get to him then he will transform your riding.

  • Thanks for that - once I am over this injury I'll get over there...

Yeah worth doing a pro fit if a new bike is causing you problems. Do you have a larger saddle to bar drop on the new bike or more reach to the bars? Either could cause you to rotate forward more and put pressure on your bits...
  • I'm getting a retul bike fit done on the 28th, will let you know how that goes.
