I want to go on record here that I absolutely love that. It's the pushiron equivalent of a Ducati 916

From the Argos website:Shimano gears.
Front V-type and rear V-type brakes.
Rigid suspension.
Weight fully assembled 18kg
18kg for the v-brake version - wonder how much the disc version weights :shock:0 -
Actually - if you go onto the argos website it doesn't appear to have any brakes fitted at all - the cables just lead into thin air!

"rigid suspension" ?
is it that short of features that they have to advertise it by stating a lack of a feature?0 -
Someone actually sat down and drew that on a piece of paper and thought to themselves "wow, that's rad" that person went and showed it to other people who agreed so much that they decided to throw money into making it real.

Clacton, every summer.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
I like the fact that the 'gatecrasher', actually utilises a section of farmer's gate in its construction 8)0

They're generally not allowed out without their carers. They can count to potato and don't like you touching their ears.0 -
This is quite obviously a bargain as it was £269.99! How can you say otherwise when its nearly half price, and free delivery! I've just ordered two to replace the gates on my driveway.0
-
Definitely a bargain compared to this:

Choked on my tea when I saw the price :shock:Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go - T.S. Eliot0 -
If you lock yourself out, you could use it as a ladder to get in the window! brilliant idea0

Even the 'mountain bike style tyres' it is fitted with make it difficult to justify.0 -
Zoom into the picture and the hydraulic discs mysteriously have cables on them as well.....best Promax on the front and the rear is mounted 180degrees out as the cable pull lever is the wrong side and it's in completely the wrong place - someone shouldn't be allowed near photoshop, presumably the same guy who on the farm gate crusher has one V-brake post covered with a black cover and one with a green cover?
Check out the rear brake, especially with the amazing dispearing spoke protector (with drawn on spoke pattern?)
and how the rear mech cable dispears as it crosses 'in front' of it!
