Does anyone know the brand or there to buy those jeans I see bmxers wearing that have built in knee pads? Seem like a good idea for some skatepark shredding. Thinking about putting together a pair of my own, but would like to check out the shop bought ones.

I started to wonder that myself, so i did a google search and could only find weird sites for builders with weak knees. Got to be some out there somewhere though...0

There was a company when I was into motorbikes that had them. Here is the site, I have no idea if these would be overkill for a bike, but worth a check out anyway.

Shoshoni used to make them for m/cycles as well (back in the day) and I can attest that they are good enough for coming off at 50mph and sliding along the gound... Can be found on ebay and great for playing with kids and/or carpet laying as well1997 Gary Fisher Big Sur

I also second Draggin' Jeans for road use, however i dont believe they offer much impact pro.The Frog: Lapierre Zesty 214 2010 - Upgraded - W.I.P0

Hein Gericke do a reasonably priced set. The level of protection will just depend on what armour (if any) is in them, Draggin I think are designed for and maybe come with soft CE Knox pads- bulky but good. The hard cap version would be better I think for this job. The Hein Gericke ones have pockets for their own brand Hiprotec pad, which is good for motorbike use but I think a bit thin and flexible for pushiron use- good blunt impact protection but not much sharp edge.
The main downside is that mine are hot and sweaty- heavyweight denim with kevlar in it. Just walking around in them can build up a heat, I wouldn't ride a pushbike in them.
I think thin pads under baggy jeans is likely to work better.Uncompromising extremist0 -
Yeah g-form pads under normal jeans would make more sense to me0
