So I had a BeOne Raw Pro...
I built it, then made some changes, then a few months later the frame broke. BeOne were good and replaced it under warranty... So this thread pretty much now documents my BeOne journey to the present day...

I've made some changes and 'refinements'...
New wheels - Campagnolo Scirocco
New tyres - Vittoria Rubino Pros
New bartape
New saddle
Changed to Look Keos
And made some plugs out of Champagne corks from bottles cracked open to celebrate my fiancé and I's engagement.

Love that!
(Congrats!)Faster than a tent.......0 -
Looks great, was drooling over one that was waiting for a fitting when I went into my LBS a few months ago.
There definitely aren't enough green bikes around.0 -
Like it.
Much better, them blue tyres.... and those other wheels ...
I agree about green bikes, there should be more.
Best I saw was a Pinarello in black and green in JEJames years ago that was Zabels colours at the time and I don't even like Pinarellos so it must be good in green.25th August 2013 12hrs 37mins 52.3 seconds 238km 5500mtrs FYRM Never again.0 -
RIP BEyONcE.

oh dear..... what happened???0

Her leg snapped whilst riding along... not good!0

Thats a bit worrying!
If it was unprovoked thats a serious quality issue.. especially when the chainstays are supposed to be nice and stiff/strong for power transfer!0 -
Thought I'd better say on here that BeOne have agreed to replace the frame under warranty, which is good...0

Glad to hear that. Would still be worried though whether this as a one off or a design/quality/build issue as could well happen again (fingers crossed it won't)0 -
Glad it's being replaced, love the cork bar ends, inspired!0

My new, same, different bike!0 -

I much prefer that to the old colours.
So you're keeping it? Are you sure? :P
Road - Dolan Preffisio
MTB - On-One Inbred
I have no idea what's going on here.0 -
Yeah... it's really bonny - as soon as I got it out t'box I knew I was gonna keep it!
Gotta just hope and pray the issue before was a one off!0 -
SO HERE WE ARE
BeOne Raw Pro (take two!)
Thar she blows. Switched to my silver Campag wheels as I think they look classier with the white - but need a new set of matching tyres (my other set of tyres is green to go with the old bike!). Also need to replace the Veloce rear mech as it doesn't seem to be running very smoothly and I think its ever so slightly twisted from the mishap with the previous frame.
The bike shed is complete again!0 -
Beautiful! I can see why you kept it now!

Thanks Declan!
A few upgrades to make and I'm also keeping my eyes peeled for a nice vintage like your BSA Goldenwings as a 2nd bike! One modern, one classic...0 -

nice one...0 -
A bit misleading - only one is mine! The red spesh belongs to the good lady and the black spesh and cube belong to the good ladys brother in law0
-
helmet no longer matches the bike though.0
-
Neither do my glasses or favourite jersey0
-
Thought you had a fetish for multi coloured spoons 'til I looked closer!"If smoking is so bad for you how come it cures fish?"0
-
Spoons are SO good.
But yeah... they're actually rosettes belong to the Shetland Ponies who share the shed with the bikes.0 -
Good to see the corks are back in action too!0
-
Yeah they're staying! Might need to drink some more champagne though cos one of them is quite slightly squint so isn't quite centre.0
-
Done with winter... here she is ready for summer again. Come on now, sun.
The red/black Centaur range goes nicely with the frame... Should I get a red QR skewer?

Nice looking bike, I prefer the look of the other chainset though, and the spoke configuration on the rear wheel aint pretty.0
