Hello to all....im just gettin back into mountain biking and looking to buy a bike theres loads in the sales at the.minute but things have moved on abit since i last had a bike about 10 years ago. Been lookin at a cannoondale sl4 on offer 2010 i wanna spend about 500-550 tops can anyone point me in rhe right direction. Im 41 lookin to use it for goin on trails and hopefully abit of jumping and stuff. And the occslasional trip to work. My last bike was a trials bike but as im gettin on im just lookin for a front sus.model. Any help would be great so thanx in advance.

The best specced bikes at this price are the Carrera Fury from Halfords, and the Rockrider 8.1 from Decathlon. Both sport very good forks that make a difference.0

Is an excellent bike for the money, some nice kit and forks. Hard to try for size though, which is were local shops have advantages. Size varies so much between brands.0 -
