Hi I am looking to buy a few mountainbikes to send to Tanzania. I have a budget of 500 pounds per bike and have researched and have an Idea what is best to buy but I am looking for advice on what bike will be the most reliable, easy to repair and well built. I will comprimise on performance in comparison to build quality becuase spares are harder to source in Tanzania. Thanks

While the best specced at the price is the decathlon rockrider 8.1, the Carrera Fury is a bit of a tougher bike, do you have an issue with using air forks or would you prefer steel springs?

Maybe find out what is sold there, or buy locally.

  • No I dont have a problem with air forks, and you cant buy locally, the demand is not there and as with most things in tanzania everything is imported and therefore more expensive.
