Grease for V8 and V12's

Hi all,
I have a pair of both DMR V8's and V12's. Looking to re-grease both.
Now the v8 has a service port where I ned to syringe some liquid in but the V12 I imagine I will need some thicker stuff to actual coat the axle in?
What types should I be looking at guys?
Also looking at getting a tub of grease for other bike jobs, is there a 'one kind does all'? For example, would it be possible to put some grease in a syringe and use it on the v8's?
Thanks,

Halfords Teflon is good and cheap.0

Thanks guys,
so there is no problem using a watery (thin) type of grease, i've seen some grease in a tub and it was like a hair gel substance.
But Teflon-based grease is ok for a grease jobs right?
Thanks,0 -
Why? It will just wash out easier.
Why would you want to any way?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'm just thinking how best to get the grease in the service hole of the v8's.
If you see this:

It is in a syringe and I imagine to be quite running so it will get in the hole.
Whilst this has a much thinker appearance:

I just want to know if I need to get separate grease for certain parts or if I can get a largish tub and have done with it (and put some in a syringe for the service holes on pedals).
Many thanks,0 -
cant you just buy a syringe and stuff it full of whatever grease you have handy?0
